Chicken Soup for the Soul’s Animal Tales centers around our love for animals and the impact they have on our lives. Each episode uncovers stories about amazing and inspiring people from around the world who go above and beyond to care for, love, help, and defend animals everywhere. Viewers will meet animal rescue teams and dedicated animal advocates helping lost pets find forever homes, and even meet some of the incredible pets serving and assisting people in need, including military K9s and therapy animals. Chicken Soup for the Soul’s Animal Tales will teach viewers to honor the unconditional bond between people and their pets, and how animals change lives. Viewers will learn some of the responsibilities that come with caring for our four-legged friends.

Two-time Emmy nominee, Eva La Rue is best known for her longtime series regular roles on CSI: Miami and All My Children. Other notable work by Ms. La Rue includes recurring roles on The George Lopez Show, Third Watch and Soul Food. She also appeared opposite Samuel L. Jackson in Lakeview Terrace and had starring roles in the telefilms Dancer & The Dame, A Killer Walks Amongst Us, Cries in the Dark, Help for the Holidays and A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes the Annette Funicello Story.

She works with the Tahirih Justice Center to help end human trafficking and other human rights violations against women, girls, children and other vulnerable groups. She has created an inter-net series on her Eva La Rue Youtube page entitled Parenteen, designed to address everyday parenting issues with a sense of humor and resolve. Eva La Rue lives in Los Angeles with her teenage daughter, Kaya and two dogs.
